We stayed at a friendly and helpful hostel with a nice room overlooking a beautiful garden. The location was great, with easy access to bus pick-ups for tours. The hostel had spacious common areas, including two well-equipped kitchens. The breakfast was satisfying, with a generous basket of delicious breads and croissants. The staff provided excellent service, offering valuable tour advice and arranging transfers.
The kitchen facilities could use some improvement, lacking cutting boards and proper cooking knives.

I stayed at Calafate for a few nights during my hiking trip and it was perfect. The hostel was centrally located and super clean, making it easy to access the nearby hiking trails. The huge common area was warm and cozy, providing a great space to relax after a long day of exploring. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to help me choose excursions and even let me check in early. Highly recommended!
100% Recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a hostel in a great location for my visit to Calafate. The on-site restaurant offered delicious and affordable meals, and they even served breakfast early for those with early departures. There was also the option to request packed lunches. I highly recommend this hostel and suggest checking out their sister hostel in El Chaltén for a convenient location near the Fitz Roy hike.
I do recommend this hotel.

Awesome breakfast , cosy beds and dorms, epic lodgey feeling, friendly and organised staff, able to book adventures. Two blocks from the main street, helpful staff organising buses, transfers, and tours. Basic but good breakfast with unlimited coffee. Olivia was welcoming and informative. Location less than 5-minute walk from the main street. Many possibilities to book trips at lower prices.
Felt truly looked after, no reason to complain.

We had an exceptional stay at this hostel. The location was convenient, just a 3-minute walk from the main street. Our room was basic but okay, and the friendly staff made up for any shortcomings. We also appreciated the ability to exchange money at a great rate and the option to pay with credit or debit cards.
The heating in the room was a bit too hot, but we were able to cool down by opening the windows.

Great location, just a short walk from the center and close to all the attractions. Friendly and helpful staff, making it easy to arrange trips and get recommendations.-The shared area was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing and using the decent wifi.
The breakfast was below basic, mainly bread-based. I left my charger after check out and when I returned, it had disappeared.

The location was convenient, just a short walk to the center of town.
The wifi connection was not great.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent and our room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, right in the center of town, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The breakfast menu could be improved with fresher pastries and some fruit options.

The double room with a private bathroom was excellent value for just $20 per night. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, which was really helpful. The lounge areas upstairs were great for relaxing or waiting for a bus. I loved the separate toilet and shower, and the shower itself was amazing - spacious and piping hot. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed. Plus, the included breakfast was a nice touch. it was unrivaled value for money and had a great wood-cabin cum ski-lodge vibe!
Nothing - it was perfect! 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Calafate Hostel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available for any request. The building itself is located in a peaceful area, close to the center. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our private room and the bathroom, which even had a bidet. The location was perfect, with a convenience store and eateries nearby. The hostel made it easy for us to explore El Calafate, as they provided lockers for our backpacks and allowed us to store our luggage for free. we were impressed and would definitely choose to stay here again.
Nothing to fault! 😊

The staff were excellent, going above and beyond to help us. The room was large, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main street.
The breakfast setup was confusing and inefficient, with a slow process and occasional missing components. The WiFi was limited to only 60 minutes with a 30-minute break, which could be inconvenient for guests with multiple devices.
